Doug Halliday is a Newfoundland based artist residing in the Town of Conception Bay South,

From a very young age Doug has always had a strong passion for drawing and sports. His work started with pencil sketches but has evolved to include the use of mixed media.

 

Doug takes a unique approach to his work. It contains subtile elements highlighted by deep colours that pop off the page.

Doug has been strongly  influenced by his love for comics, sports, wrestling, pop culture and thinking outside the box. These influences are reflected in his work.

 

"Many things inspire my work, but the main thing that inspires me as an artist is piecing ideas together in my head and putting them to paper."
